Linna Carter has always had a passion for music and movement, so it comes as no surprise she began her career as a dancer/singer. Trained in ballet at a young age, her interests soon grew to encompass other forms of dance including: Jazz, Modern, Latin, African and a true love of Hip/Hop. This segued into several musical theater productions. But it was during a trip with her family to Ashland's Shakespeare Festival and a performance of All's Well That Ends Well that Linna found her true calling.While attending college at UCLA, she booked her first feature film role, a lead in the independent drama Defying Gravity which won several awards on the independent film circuit. Since graduating, she has booked several commercials (Audi, Direct TV and Sears to name a few), independent films, web-series, and industrials videos. She has also been a finalist at the prestigious Actors Studio. On screen, she has had the opportunity to work with Ty Pennison, Victoria Jackson, and comedy legend, Leslie Nielsen.In the fall of 2010, Linna started the production company Wellwood with Sarah Levin and began producing their own projects. The Hunger Games- Johanna Mason Fan Film marks their second production to date. One of the company's missions is to create a community of artists and film professionals that work together often. They currently have three other projects in pre-production.
